Wel'Milya on The Move

Dr. Wel'Milya Francis D.D.S., a 1999 Kingsway graduate, furthered her education at Fisk University where she earned a B.A. degree in Biology. She traveled on to McHarry Medical College School of Dentistry where she earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. She is presently working at Impressions Dental, General and Cosmetic Dentistry in the Harbor Bay Shopping Plaza as the associate dentist along with Dr. Annette Warren. She believes that possibility is an awareness of the things that are and are not available to you and the outward display of the drive to achieve them.

She encourages present students to not fall into the trap of thinking that they have it all figured out. She urges them to find positive mentors and role models to give them sound advice. Things will change from time to time but she further encourages them to accept, adjust and survive. She wants to raise oral health awareness throughout the nation in children and adults. She has many great dreams for the future and she is confident with God on her side she will accomplish them. Her favorite Scripture verse is Philippians 1:6, "And I am sure that He who began a good work in you will complete itÂ…"
